February 22, 2008 - The Cleveland Indians are based in Cleveland, Ohio and are members of the Central Division in the Pro Baseball's American League. The Indians were established in 1901 and over the years have changed stadiums a number of times. When they were first established, the team played at League Park (1901-1946) and then moved to Cleveland Stadium (1932-1993) and finally Progressive Field (1994-present) where they currently reside.

The team was initially called the Cleveland Blues (1901), and the name evolved over time to the Broncos (1902-1904), the Naps (1905-1914) and currently they are called the Cleveland Indians (1915-present). The team has also been called the Tribe and the Wahoos.
